Goal: screen children at entry into kindergarten and again in 7th grade
Discuss with DOH the possibility of adding weight and height to DOH requirements in 7th grade; Evaluate educational materials for parents regarding BMI - Increase insurance coverage for screening and intervention
Survey to determine current insurance coverage; Evaluate and promote AAP-Hawaii Pediatric Obesity Toolkit.
